Just a quick update to freshen up the journal. We spent the last two days on the Padre Island National Seashores.
We fished hard, and had a great time. The wind was howling so everything had sand in it. We took hoagies for lunch; turkey-mustard-sand. This Red Drum, aka Redfish, was 24 inches and weighed over 5 pounds.
A local shrimper came back with these shrimp today. Susie is holding this one. Do you think $4.00 a pound is too much? We did not either, so a shrimp boil is about to happen.
