Wire Twisting Pliers PLR-799.10
Safely twists wire up to 14 gauge(AWG). Simple one-pull action and automatic return twists wire quickly
into a strand that won’t unravel. Hardened and tempered. This tool was designed to twist wires that held on important
items, like filters on airplane engines. It is ideal for twisting wires for jewelry making. Take a section of wire, say
4 feet long. Loop the middle of the wire around a hook and clamp the two ends in these pliers. There is a chrome sliding
mechanism in the middle that locks the tool closed. You grab the rear knob, release the pliers and pull. The pliers
spin, twisting the wires. Keep this up until you have the desired amount of twist. You can get consistant results if you
measure your wire and count the number of pulls. If you like a very tight twist, which work hardens the metal, you may
need to anneal the wire before using it for tight turns.
