New Orleans and Memphis

This is the first of only two photo I took in New Orleans. This is the entrance to Jackson Square. It is the only clean and painted spot in New Orleans. The farther you go into the park, the fainter the urine smell. There was no urge to take any more photo here. Everything was worn out, peeling paint and dirt.

This is the other photo. It is of a tree in the Garden District. It had unusual yellow flowers, shaped like a trumpet and were 10 inches long. This is the area in New Orleans where the "Old Money" lives. "Old Money" does not mean to imply fresh paint.

Here is a look at the RV park we ended up in while we stayed in Memphis. The lovely beer billboard provided cooling shade, while the RV hoisted up on the sign post provided a nesting site for Memphis bird life(pigeons). That is the rear of our bus, just below the RV sign/roost. Amazingly, only one bird confused us with the RV sign/roost. He had been eating Mulberrys.
