Panorama of Duluth
This is my first attempt at a panorama. The left side of the panorama is the lift bridge which is west of the lighthouse
where this panorama is photographed. The right side of the image is northeast of the lighthouse. The elevation of the
tower in the panorama is about 600 feet above the water. The elevation of the land at the east end of the panorama is
about 100 feet above the water. This adds to the confusing effect of the image.
The map:
The Lift Bridge is at the bottom of the map, at the west end of the two parallel lines. The east end of the parallel
lines is the vantage point for this panorama. The parallel lines are the jetties that form the ship channel
into the harbor. The east side of the map coast line is about the east end of the panorama.
