Welcome to the Casting

Casting DVD

Sunday, June 29th, 2008

I am starting work on another instructional DVD, this time on cuttlebone casting as well as sand casting. We are working on a wirewrap cabochon DVD, but that is very slow in production, probably another 250 hours of work left.

I am hoping to get the casting DVD done before August. The project will take around 30 hours of video taping, and another 150 hours of editing, script rewrites and re-shooting scenes that did not work.

I’m excited about getting the project running. I started with about 8 hours of script research and writing yesterday.

This is the brand of cuttlebone I use. My supplier is out of business but this is the company that supplies them. They may ship or provide you with a distributor’s name.
