Baked Beans


24 oz bacon diced
24 oz diced onions
Saute bacon, then onions in bacon grease. Discard any excess grease.
Then:

Add remaining ingredients:
1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 c molasses
3 T prepared mustard
1 28oz can crushed tomatoes with juice
2 T Beef bullion cubes, I like Knorr's
1 T onion Powder
2 T Liquid smoke Hickory, not mesquite
Then Add the beans

1 #10 can of pork and beans with all of the slurp rinsed off

Bake uncovered 225 for 1-2 hours, or until thickened. For a half recipe, use a 53 ounce can of Pork & Beans

Use a disposable pan.
